BACKGROUND: Black Design

MM-O-DD seeks to be a relevant resource and place to unite all people through a common passion for Design and the arts, to share, enlighten, engage, and educate all learners to the full breadth of creative contributions that Black American and African American persons have made to the design world. The Voices and Choices campaign seeks to document the people and provide the where, what, and How to direct pathways to knowledge and success.The museum is focused to be a place where Black creatives meld creativity and professionally – and, in the process, inspire others – especially the next generation of Black designers, engineers, and scientists in the Design industry and related fields.
